One Bright Day, at the Office

Romance in the stone
[Romance in the stone]

Hello and welcome. We are in the private office of a friend. She is out of town all week so make as much noise as you want. I borrowed the key because she said I could capture a few of her office mates for this story.

Her office decor resembles a zoo in a botanical garden. In winter, the humidifier stays on at full blast and it gets foggy in here. There are creatures of all sizes waiting to meet you. Please watch your step.

That’s all for the tour, my friends. I hope you’re not too exhausted from running around in here. Thank you for visiting and have a great week.

Hiya and thank you so much. The reblog button is activated but WordPress won’t show it for some reason. Please feel free to select and repost the photos that you like. Warm regards. xo

Your work is very good! And your eye is outstanding. Really, I think that is the trick: being able to see a certain way and framing the shot with the proper lighting (and the “aperture triangle” of aperture, ISO, and shutter speed). Nice work!

Thank you so much. I am really happy you enjoyed my work. It was a challenge taking the shots and framing them took a lot of effort. I spent a day practicing and then went back to capture the ones I would use for the post. Again, please feel free to use as many of them as you like on your blog. xo

I’m sure you’ll find a way to get it done. Etsy might work for you if you don’t have a ready market and buyers for your work. It can be tricky but I wish you the best of luck.

It is a nurse’s office and she decorates it with gifts from her young patients. She has an amazing aesthetic sense, though, and I found the environment warm and welcoming. I’m glad you like this post, Karen. Thank you for stopping by. xo

I love your friend’s office, and it gives me ideas for mine. I collect little nick-nacks & some family members think I’m ‘nuts’ but I believe it gives your environment a more whimsical and welcoming feel to have a few little touches spread around. xox

I wonder if your friend appreciates the everyday occupants of her space as much as you have! I love your attention to detail and tendency to bring every character to life in such a human way – I can SO relate to that habit!

Thank you very much. I think she likes them a great deal but has never seen them telling their stories in quite this way. She loves the album, which I’ve already shared with her. Warm wishes this weekend, Susanne.

Hi. Should you be up at this hour? (It’s 1:20AM where I am…)

Thanks for the like, anyway.

This post made me smile. And not just once…

🙂
