Fishing rods.
Ground shot.
After a deep, post migraine slumber that lasted the better part of two straight days, it was time to take a walk. For that, I drove to the bay.
Pink feet.
Reflection. He was really sweet and paused every time I asked him.
Long shot.
Paddles by morning rowers on the bay.
Waters. A heavy colour filter added juice to a blue morning.
Medium long shot.

I wilted after two hours of captures, so I walked a few metres past that photo above and greeted myself with an orange mocha frappuccino at the Bay Area Starbucks.
Denim on wood, indoors.
I adore wood floors.
Yellow door, just outside.
oOO Thank you xxoxxo

Thank you so much. This city is reknown for its 19th century style buildings so there is so much to take in. Speaking of which, I had my own “green” post lined up for later this week. It’s remarkable how much our expressive pursuits line up. I hope you’re well. Again, no thanks are necessary. x

You are welcome, and I hope you are well too. I like looking at old buildings and even ancient ruins, so I would not mind seeing the ones in your city.
I did not know you also planned to have a “green” post this week. Maybe we are telepathically linked. 🙂

This walk was fun and I love the imagery (captured both by lens and word). Is it strange that my favourite is the denim on the floorboards?
My sympathies on the migraines – hopefully you don’t get them too often x

Thank you, mGm. I get migraines at the most unexpected times. Having low blood pressure does not help but I stay hydrated to ward them off. Thank you for your compliments on the walk. I am glad you like my denim tote. It’s from Dakota. This was one of those “gimme it” purchases. I love their rugged designs with natural fabrics. x

I found the colors of the Medium Long Shot to be resplendent. Even the rust “popped”! That one felt brighter than life. In a good way. Like an orange mochaccino that for some reason I can’t stop imagining as being brilliant orange. Even though I know better. Somewhere along the way, Starbucks dropped the Mocha Valencia from their standard offering, didn’t they? It is helpful at times, to be reminded of old favorites!

Thank you, Michael. Rust looks good when it’s not on something that belongs to us. It is true that one’s mind goes immediately to the colour “orange” and not the flavour “orange”. They did have some Valencia orange syrup on hand and I asked them to make the drink for me, even though it was not on the menu. They did because I’m a regular guest. x

“…to be reminded how beautiful the world is.” And that was exactly why I did this photoshoot. Someone said something particularly mean to me the evening before, and I immediately thought of how fortunate I was to be surrounded by all this. There are fireworks on the bay this evening and yesterday as well, so imagine that spleandour and having friends who live on the hill just above that spectacle. Who cares what the mean people say? My life is beautiful. Thank you again for viewing. x

Thank you so much. My Friday is super awesome at the moment. The bad boy singer showed up when I demanded a getaway car. He might be a rugby player. He had no tattoos in the dream, curiously enough. The Thai salad did not work again. But I’m sure if I experiment with other spices, I’ll find a winning formula. My dreamscape is pretty scary but I converted one dream into a poem. It’ll be published in August. It is called Lùmina.

I didn’t notice their feet, as they were knee deep in spinach, but they were fully clothed. I was stuck in the countryside and the getaway car was a Lotus that I had to reassemble on my own. Of course, I was going to wake up to avoid doing that.

Wow. Like a Lego Lotus? The blocks must have been pretty large.

You know how small those cars are. I think I have handbags that are larger than those things.
LikeLiked by 1 person
True. But my experience with legos is that I’ll always have a part left over, and it’s usually something that belongs in the middle of the structure. Oh well. So, men knee deep in spinach. Is there something about Popeye you’d like to discuss?
LikeLiked by 1 person
I am sure I’m not Popeye’s type but there was spinach in my salad. So, I guess it was trying to say hello. My experience with assembling things is the same. There’s always that small part that does not fit where the manual says it should. I hope your morning is holding together well?
LikeLiked by 1 person
I’m convinced that the manual is there, in part, to mess with our minds. There’s someone really mischievous who writes them. It is, thank you. It’s really hot and humid here. I don’t mind that when I’m by my pool, but at work it’s a different matter.

Starting to wonder if there are no coincidences in this bizarre and obscure thing we call life! I’m starting to make up with the man upstairs I believe. We had a big storm last evening, severe, big wind, ominous skies. But after it blew through, we were afforded the most spectacular sunset and complete calm. The symbolism wasnt lost on me. It was epiphanyesque ( is this a word? I doubt it).
