Thank you very much. I enjoyed painting under that tree. Using it as a backdrop seemed like the right thing to do. After creating the collage, the challenge was to not use any water, and just three colours with only a palette knife and intuition. It was a beautiful day.

I honestly don’t know much about art, but this is amazing! The contrast is really nice and it reminds me of a heaven/hell or angel/devil battle — in other words, the internal struggles inside every one of us.

Was that deep or what?

Thank you for seeing that. It was not purposeful but I was working with contrasts and I noticed the symbolism who I was through. Thank you for hopping over here.

I love your creations, I always find them inspiring. I would say I envy you your talent, but that implies a negative connotation, and it’s all positive. I know my creative abilities, as well as their limits and I appreciate and admire similar and different talents in others. ❤

Thanks, so much. I have admired your talent as well and all day, I was thinking of doing an erotica post from a shy girl’s perspective (humour) and it would be nice for us to team up. Hmmm…?! (Dangles guest post with chocolate sauce, and cherry flavoured treats).

I see, and of course, no problem. It’s about the scientific method and love. It’s what you wrote about fish eyes. We should just make the best of it with the other person. I think that in order to find out if the other person is worth our friendship, love or companionship, we need to pay a lot of attention to them (stare at them until our eyelids fall off) and see what they do with. That is what it means to “shine a light” on the person: We put them under a microscope. We see how they react to us as “stimuli.” And then we try to prove our “theories” about their worthiness. x

Thank you so much, Jennifer. Sometimes, I feel guilty about destroying the photos, but I’d rather paint on pages instead of throwing out magazines. Bazaar’s print ads are works of art, far outdoing Vogue or Elle. x

Thank you, Miss Evelyn. That grey is the glossy magazine page I ripped out and taped on the board for the collage effect. It was a photo of fur, diamonds and pearls. I thought about how sometimes people choose to respond to the love others show them with evil words and attitudes. I thought this was an appropriate image to smear black paint on.

Ugh! You know, there are a lot… And I mean a LOT of things I don’t know about “hair” (I have no idea how to word that…) but, I have never not asked! What ignorant comments. Not all dreads dirty. (Although…. Admittedly- some are.) but- still! Ugg! What jerks! I could continue- I’ve been ranting at work about this for a while now.
